9. Top LinkedIn sales and SDR influencers to follow in 2021
Long time to see! The past few weeks have been pretty hectic here at Reply.io 🤯
I’m currently onboarding several SDRs (and will share some insights I’ve learned along the way shortly). So, today, I’d like to talk about the crucial part of the onboarding process — learning.

I’m a big believer in learning by doing 💪 Yet, it still won’t hurt to get some first-hand knowledge the easy way - without having your eyes blackened (and wasting a good dozen of leads) along the way.
That is why various useful resources — books, podcasts, blogs, etc. — play a vital role in any onboarding process.
But there’s one more source of first-hand knowledge and inspiration for young SDRs and sales managers often gets overlooked — industry thought leaders and influencers 🏅
So, here’s my list of 13 must-follow sales voices on LinkedIn that I personally enjoy reading (in alphabetical order):
Becc Holland - the one and only founder of flipthescript.co; writes about personalization at scale.
Jason Bay - all things prospecting - emails, subject lines, video prospecting, personalization, etc.
Jeremey Donovan - awesome sales and sales development-related stats and insights
Josh Braun - B2B sales process in plain English - cold calls and emails, proven templates
Julianne (Sweat) Thompson - incredibly strong SDR leader, follow to get your daily dose of inspiration
Kyle Coleman - personalized emails and modern b2b sales
Matt Wanty - cold calling, the author of “Smart Outbound: The Outbound Sales Journal”
Morgan J Ingram - writes about B2B prospecting, sales life, as well as video games and comics (my personal favorite!)
Sam Nelson - a strong SDR leader, author of agoge sequence approach
Sarah Brazier - a truly inspiring and interesting person (with a great sense of humor)
Stephan Hamilton - the creator of The SDR Newsletter, follow for unique SDR insights that you can’t find anywhere else
Christian Krause - AE at Salesforce, writes about B2B sales, from discovery to demo and closing
Jed Mahrle - a fellow Substacker (Practical Prospecting), shares insights on prospecting, email templates, relevance at scale
And some more honorable mentions (in no particular order):
If you still don’t follow these folks ☝️, I highly recommend you do it right now and make sure to listen to what they can say — because there’s a lot you can learn!

P.S. While I’m nowhere close to these masterminds, I am also regularly sharing some bits of wisdom on LinkedIn (far more regularly than I do here), so I’d be happy to have you join the conversation some time 😉
